Today we are announcing Aigent’s Series A. The round was led by our seed investors doubling down, joined by two new funds who spent time talking to customers before they talked to us, which is exactly the kind of diligence we wanted.

What changes, and what does not

The product roadmap does not change. We were already building nested sub-workflows and inline testing before this round closed, and those stay the priority. What the round buys us is time: more engineers on the runtime team, and a support team that can keep response times where they are as we grow past our current customer base.

Pricing does not change either. We built usage-based pricing because it is the right model for a tool that runs in the background of someone’s business, not because we needed to prove growth to investors. That will not shift just because we have more capital in the bank.
